About Me       I enjoy creating one-of-a-kind cakes for friends and family (mostly because they never turn out the same way twice).  I have not taken any formal decorating classes, just learn as I go.   I'm not exactly an amateur, but I'm not a pastry chef either, I guess that makes me a semi-pro decorator.   I've always made theme cakes for birthdays at our home, and began Mary's Cake Creations in 2006.  My first Cake Creation was done for a friend to take to a benefit auction, where it fetched $40.  Last year at my Church's annual dessert auction, my signature purse cake brought in $210 to support mission work.
